I check up now and then but I'm not a discussion board moderator so whats to expect? As for what I've been busy doing, well at around the time Cnd closed the last time I moved on to Scratch (Designing animations and games, I did actually create a multi-player game but as it's online compatibility only came to those on the same IP I was forced to give it up.) I eventually got sick of it and started to play Habbo Retros(Free alternatives to Habbo),which I hadn't done for years. The first retro I went on shut down, as most of them older than a year do. I moved to another one I found on a retro top site, its pretty good and still running but I have moved on from it. An advertiser from a tiny retro that had just set-up once tempted me to leave, Once I got a moderator position I was to stay for a while. I had done my job well for about a month but was set to move again. The person who set up the retro I had been working on was talking to a user about how he could set up their own retro for a set price. This interested Conor,Aaron and I. We talked to him about how we wanted the site and the price just kept getting bigger and bigger but, seeing that we split it 3-ways it wasn't alot. Our retro was set, the owners of Jab felt betrayed but this they deserved for what their were to do in the future. Vintage was the name of my hotel, a unique name, soon to have a bad reputation. As we were tiny we were forced to advertise just as Jab had done, We avoided HR as if we were to ever not work out we would have to go back there. There were bigger hotels to steal users from though, ones where the users were more stupid and easier to tempt with promises of staff applications being held, we continued this until the owner of Zap took action. Jonty had seen our advertising and how effective it had been, we took a total of 14 users in one day (Which at such a vulnerable point seemed to be a hell of a lot). We had other users too, ones in which weren't from his Hotel. He gave us an offer that wasn't exactly great. He said to me that he would give me a staff position (Which could have been anything from Trial Mod to Admin) in exchange for every single user to come to his hotel. I turned him down and shot him in the face (Nah I just kicked him off my hotel). He didn't like this, so he decided to get my domain at the time shut down, you were still able to get onto the hotel through other domains that re-directed you there, but most of our users relied on the main link and so our user count had turned into a fraction of what it was originally. We made a recovery however, advertising on just about any retro we could, but someone took it a bit too far and tried to tempt the users of HR. Almost being immediately caught by the owner,Jeremy, the person was banned on sight and we were to be held at the mercy of defacement. Jeremy, or who I know believe to be someone else, came onto our site and took us down almost instantly. We explained to him how we intended not to take his users and he let it slide. So, yes, it was now known to hackers that we had weak security, and so didn't some bitch ass kid come along begging for mod,annoying the hell out of Aaron,Conor and I. We permanently banned him after threatening us with his brothers hacking skills. One of his friends then told us he had no siblings what so ever, so we didn't worry about it. So the kid hires a finish hacking team, yeah that's right when they took over our site and didn't even have the respect to do it in a language we could understand. The changed the password to our VPS (Virtual Private Server) for which we had to pay monthly, we had it shut down on Otaku, we really didn't want our hotel to turn into some gay one named Finland Hotel. So we gave up on Vintage, what could we have done? It hurt so much to think that we were once in charge and now we were just notorious users, that knew everything there was about hotels. Another month passed, we got enough money together to set up Vintage again, but we obviously did not pay the same guy. The new guy cost a little bit more, but it was 10 times more legit, and we've been running ever since, bigger and better than ever. I'll probably continue to check up on CND, but as you can see I'm very busy now, we're experiencing another drop in users and so I have to get down to business.
