Fire Emblem is a strategy RPG game where you control an army and you fight an opposing army. You can control various characters in various classes such as Cavalier, Mage, Myrmidon, Mercenary and lots of others. You can control to over 50 characters and choose who to use. There are a couple of things that makes this series unique: Your character level ups aren't fixed (except the fixed mode in FE9), they are always determined by luck (except that some percentages are higher for certain characters) and that when a character dies, he stays dead (except the Aum staff in FE11/FE12). A problem is that FE1 to FE6 have only been released in Japan. For those who have a DS, I'd recommend you Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. It's between 5$ and 20$ in the USA (10$ in Wal-Mart!) and 35$ in Quebec. It includes Wi-Fi battling and reclassing. New players often find it great but others who already played it find it decent. It stars Marth! Roy, Ike and Lyn aren't in that game. The sequel will come out next year. Fire Emblem Hero of light and Shadow (Or what I think it will be named if I compare with FE11) and Fire Emblem Hero of Light and Darkness will let you create your own character and every character from Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon returns.
