HISTORY OF THE FANGEL
The Fangel was a creature i created while I was in 3rd grade, and it has stuck with me for a loooong time now. It was originally spelled Fangle, cause i didnt know the difference between Angel and Angle. >.>
A Fangel is a holy creature(And no, im not religious). They can change color to blend in with their environment. They are herbivores, so they dont eat meat, unless it is the only food around. They mostly eat fruits, but will also eat vegetables. Fangels live in forests, but they also feel right at home in the clouds.
They can call upon the Holy Spirit when in need(And yes, the Holy Spirit is the Fangel goddess, and no, not the human one), and it will even descend down to earth occasionally to check on the world. Plus, the Holy Spirit is living matter, it can be seen and can be touched. It is alive.
An average Fangel lifespan is from 800-1200 years old. They are fierce fighters, but thrive in times of peace. Fangels have many ways of attack. They have tamed fire, and thus have found many uses of it. Crafting different items, including weapons. Fangels are close-combat fighters, but also can have great stealth, and they have a specially trained ninja class. They focus on power and agility, as they have mastered the stealth part, they can blend in like a chameleon.

In the background is a color picture of a neutral, fully grown Fangel. A teen aged on has one less wing bump, and is slightly smaller. A young Fangel has line eyes, one less wing bump, and smaller. A baby Fangel has two wing bumps, smaller line eyes, they are very small. A newborn Fangel has dot-eyes, is tiny, and has one wing bump.
Where is the mouth?!?!? Well, the mouth is on the stalk on the top of the Fangels head. It can move very freely, as the Fangels neck has 43 bones in it.
Fangels travel in groups, and hate to be alone. Once alone, a Fangel will try by all means to find its way back to a group. Fangels are never thrown into exile, as they may go crazy, and destroy something of value. Instead, the Fangel receives discipline in which they are forced to collect food for the community, and only eat acorns or other nut-like-objects. The length of this form of punishment depends on how bad of a deed that was done. Fangels dont murder other Fangels, because they all rely on each other.
Throughout the forms of evolution, there was a few other creatures that spawned from the basic makeup of a Fangel. Like the Fevil. The Fevil looks almost exactly like a Fangel, except for a few key features. A Fevil has wings pointed and straight out to the sides, as Fangels wings curve upwards. The Fevil has less bones in its neck, so it is always straight, and cannot bend. Fevils have fangs, somewhat like a vampires. Fevils also have different personalities, like they are carnivores. They would rather soar or glide, as Fangels would rather flap their wings. Fevils live near where there are rabbits, as they as easy prey, plus, they provide furry pelts and good burrows. Fangels live deep in forests, near fruit trees, and have a bustling society.
